Shawn has been in a Founding BizOps role at multiple startups. He typically oversees: Finance (fundraising, financial modelling, strategic finance); BizOps (board management, strategic planning, process improvement) and HR (recruiting, people ops, employee engagement).

Progressing from Founding BizOps to VP of Operations, he has helped raise over $60M in funding (Series A / B / C) and helped grow LogDNA / Mezmo (YC W15) from 3 employees to 125 and an entry onto the Top YC Companies list. Shawn works both as a scrappy IC in the early days and an exec team member a team leader during the scaling phase.
